This Privacy Policy explains how AudioSlicer AI collects, uses, stores, and protects your personal information when you use our website and audio processing services. We are committed to handling your data responsibly and transparently.

2. What we collect

We collect the following information when you create an account and use our service:

• Account information: your email address, authentication credentials, and profile data, managed through our authentication provider, Supabase.
• Usage and billing data: your selected plan, minute balance, transaction history, and payment records processed by our payment partner, Lemon Squeezy.
• Job metadata: file names, audio durations, clip timestamps, transcript text, folder names, and export format preferences.
• Uploaded content: the audio files and scripts you upload for processing, as well as the processed clips and manifests you generate.

3. How we use your data

We use your data solely to operate, maintain, and improve AudioSlicer AI. Specifically, we use it to authenticate your account, manage your plan and minute balance, align your narration with the audio timeline, generate clips and CSV manifests, store your exports, and respond to your support requests.

We do not sell your personal data, your uploaded audio, or your scripts to third parties. We do not use your content to train machine-learning models or improve third-party services without your explicit consent.

4. Audio processing and third-party services

To perform speech alignment and timestamp extraction, AudioSlicer AI sends your uploaded audio to AssemblyAI, a third-party speech-to-text service. AssemblyAI processes the audio solely to generate transcripts, word-level timestamps, and speaker alignment data. AudioSlicer AI does not authorize AssemblyAI to retain your audio for any purpose beyond processing your request, and we do not use your audio to train or improve any model.

We also rely on Supabase for secure authentication, database hosting, and encrypted file storage, and on Lemon Squeezy for payment processing.

5. Storage and retention

Raw audio uploads are stored securely in a private storage bucket and are typically removed approximately 30 days after processing is complete. Processed clips, manifests, and job metadata remain available in your account until you delete them or close your account. Account and billing records are retained for as long as necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

6. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures, including encrypted storage, row-level access controls, and secure authentication, to protect your data. Access to your jobs, clips, and account information is restricted to you and our authorized administrators who need access to operate the service.

7. Your rights

You can access, update, or delete your content at any time from within the AudioSlicer AI dashboard. You may also request a copy of your data, correction of inaccurate information, or deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at help@audioslicerai.com. We will respond to verifiable requests in accordance with applicable law.

8. Cookies and analytics

AudioSlicer AI uses essential cookies and local storage to maintain your authentication session and application preferences. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or tracking pixels for behavioral profiling.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on the site with a revised effective date.
